Producer / Project Lead

Zeus Jones is looking for a project lead to take on any and all projects, digital or otherwise.

At Zeus Jones, we take a clean slate approach to solving our clients’ problems, so the answer is rarely the same twice. The solution is not always a website or web application, it’s not always a mobile app or interactive installation, and it’s not always a new brand identity with updated packaging. Our solutions to client problems result in projects that run the gamut, so you’ll need to be able to quickly assess the task at hand and come up with creative solutions to problems, recommend partners to work with, freelancers to call, and provide estimates and timelines quickly and accurately for all types of projects.

The candidate that we’re looking for needs to have great client communication skills. Our philosophy is that it’s better for our clients to communicate directly with the folks doing the work. That means we don’t have the traditional layer of account managers/executives and will rely on you to manage client expectations, keep everything on strategy and make sure it’s executed to a high standard.

The people we hire at Zeus Jones are unrestrained and undaunted by job titles or descriptions and are willing to jump in and do whatever it takes to produce the best ideas for our clients.

That said, here is rough outline of the skills and experience that we think the right candidate should posses:

• - Experience with client communication and management
• - Experience scoping, managing and building a variety of things like websites, web/mobile apps, video content, events, etc.
• - Write proposals and presentations that don’t sound like reading stereo instructions. We want our proposals to be clear, to the point and reflect our company culture and philosophy.
• - Ability to be flexible, know when to ask questions and when to jump in and get things done.
• - Someone with a creative eye and the ability to think strategically.
• - Feel comfortable working without a road map. There is no process that works for every project and for everyone, so flexibility is key.
• - Ability to keep an eye on the details.
• - Optimism wrapped in pragmatism.
