Welcome to the new zeusjones.com!

We launched our original site on March 1 2007. It was built in two days with nothing more than $100 and a good idea: that a website can be a demonstration of what you believe rather than a statement about it. A year and a bit on, we still believe that but we’ve been able to devote a bit more time and resource towards creating the site we really wanted.
The concept is the same. We still think the best way to understand Zeus Jones is to experience our activities all around the Web, but rather than make you go out to see it, we’re bringing the best parts to you.
- Our Friendfeedz widget lets you see stuff we’re sharing and talking about on the Web.
- Linkedinz gives you a bit more detail about who we are and what we do.
- Photoz lets you see our photo sets from Flickr including some of our work.
- Locationz gives you directions to our place as well as some local hotspots we like.
- Slidez lets you see some of our presentations.
- Videoz links to our movies including some very sad footage of the demolition of the old zeusjones.com to make way for the new one.
- And Blogz is a link to the new home of From the head of Zeus Jones which we’ve moved off Blogger (sorry Google) onto Wordpress. (Please update your link(z) the new url is zeusjones.com/blog
Over on the right you can see a scroll of latest posts from our blog as well as checking out which Radiohead/Thom Yorke album Brad’s currently playing on the office system.

Almost everything on the site is a widget. The widgets we designed are also available for you to take and use on your site.

We’ve tried to make sure our widgets weren’t just duplicating existing widgets but hopefully bringing new functionality:
- The Friendfeedz widget doesn’t just pull your activity it also pulls in activity from all your friend(z) too. (In the case of our widget we’ve limited friends of Zeus Jones to ZJ employees, which is why it’s probably not a great idea to subscribe to ZJ’s Friendfeed as there won’t be anything happening there.)
- Our Photoz widget lets you pull from all your Flickr sets as well as letting you display your photo(z) full screen.
- Our Locationz widget makes it easy to create custom Google Maps layers and display these on your site.
- Blog(z) and Last.Fm(z) look cooler.
We’re considering this a 1.5 release, a major step forwards but still evolving. We’d love your feedback on the site, good and bad. We’d also love any suggestions you have on other widgets we should build.
Thanks and enjoy.
p.s. if you’re reading this and you work at Linkedin, we’d still love to get our hands on the API and build a cool widget for you too.
p.p.s. if you’re reading this on Friday afternoon – the DNS may not have switched over to the new site yet so try back a little later if you’re still seeing zeusjones.com classic.

Nice job on the feed conversion and the links- it seems to be working right.
