Torn calf muscle.


I’m a bit embarrassed and sheepish today as I tore a calf muscle last night chasing my dog. It’s the sort of injury you read about old people having – and it means that I’ll be limping around for a couple of weeks feeling sorry for myself and not being able to run.

However, even though I am old(ish), I can still take a little bit of comfort in the knowledge that Seth and Mike (who both take extreme pride in being young – whatever) have still not responded to the challenge I sent them a little while ago (see below). Take your time boys, I’ll be away from running for at least 2 weeks. I’m sure you can beat my time by then.
